What does an EV charger actually cost in Victoria?

Here are our real numbers:

Installation starts at $989 for an owner-supplied charger, or $1,969 for a full supply and install.

Every install includes:
- 3 year parts warranty
- Lifetime workmanship warranty
- We walk you through the rebate process

Prices are for a standard installation. If your panel cannot carry the load, you will hear it from us before we start, not after.

We just donated $1,600 to feed our community.

We stopped by the Victoria Rainbow Kitchen Society in Esquimalt to hand over a cheque as our way of saying thank you to the community that has supported us in getting where we are today.

For over 26 years, Rainbow Kitchen has been a safe and welcoming place for anyone who needs a meal. The numbers speak for themselves:

WHAT GOES INTO A 200 AMP SERVICE UPGRADE?

More than swapping a panel. Here is the process.

1. Full assessment. We inspect the panel, meterbase, and the service mast where BC Hydro's lines meet your home.

2. BC Hydro application. We coordinate and apply on your behalf. They charge their own fee to run new cabling from the pole.

3. Point of attachment. Structural bolts installed at the mast. It carries real load and has to be done right.

4. New equipment. New 200 amp panel, new meterbase, new panel schedule so you know what every breaker controls.

5. Circuit verification. We confirm the circuits throughout your home meet current Canadian Electrical Code.

6. Final inspection. Payment comes after successful completion, not before.

Our 200amp service upgrades start at $4750.

This one's for the record books.

We're honored to announce the completion of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Elementary School and Early Childhood Learning Centre project, attached to St. Joseph the Worker Parish at 757 West Burnside Road.

Scope of work included a major electrical distribution upgrade, controls, data, security, solar, and life safety upgrades, and it marks Grifflyn Electric's first performance-bonded project.

This one doesn't happen without the leadership of Knappett Projects as General Contractor, Garyali Architect Inc, E2, Bullet Security, Troy, , and every trade that worked alongside us to bring it across the finish line. Proud of what our team delivered here, and grateful to have been chosen for a project that matters to this community.
