We're proud to announce the successful launch the digital Mining Licensing System developed for South Africa’s Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources. Built on our award-winning 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑒PERMITᵀᴹ (tP) platform, this system represents a major step forward in resource management and mining cadastre systems in the region.
October 1st marked the initial Production Launch of the application, enrolling active rights holders in the Western Cape as part of a carefully planned staged rollout.
This initial deployment involved setting up infrastructure, installing the system, migrating data, conducting testing and user acceptance (UAT), delivering training, and engaging with external users - laying the foundation for an upcoming successful national implementation.
A huge shoutout to both the PGTS team and our partners in South Africa for their outstanding collaboration, technical expertise, and relentless commitment to making this release a success!
This is just the beginning, as we're committed to an orderly, inclusive, and transparent launch across the rest of South Africa. Stay tuned for more!
