The scammers are back (well, they really never left).
Watch out for emails from couriers who 'tried' to deliver a package and now want you to confirm your information with a click of a button.
DON'T CLICK THE BUTTON.
Are you expecting a package from that courier?
Is the language of the email just not quite right?
Do they address you by name or by the beginning of your email address?
The easiest way to check if an email may be real is to click the down arrow next to the word 'to' at the top of the email. Doing this will expose the real email address that this message is coming from.
Believe me, when I checked, this email definitely did not come from DHL.
Be safe out there, everyone!

I received an email today from [email protected] asking for donations for Ukraine Relief. it looked like a legitimate email address and Give.Org is itself legitimate (www.give.org).

Something was wrong - the grammar and punctuation just wasn't professional, and 'Tyler' was only looking for cryptocurrency or bitcoin or US$ only.

I did look further and found that the email address was not legitimate.

This is a Phish, folks. If it doesn't look right or feel right, DELETE IT! I promise that you aren't hurting any feelings.

If you want to donate, go straight to their website at www.give.org.

Performance Tip #2 - Sleep Your PC

Whether you shut your PC down at the end of the day or just let it 'go dark', you know that starting up your PC the next day can take a lot of time (if you emailed us at [email protected] for Tip #1 you're probably already seeing a reduction in startup time).

Why not try putting your PC 'to sleep' instead?

Click on the Windows button on the lower left of your screen, and click on 'Power'. There are 3 options - Sleep, Restart, and Shutdown'.

By selecting 'Sleep' over 'Shutdown', your PC goes into a suspended state that uses minimal energy but keeps everything you are doing open. Once you put your PC to Sleep, you need only click your mouse (or touchpad) or press a key on your keyboard to wake it up again.

And yes, you're protected because you still need to enter any passwords to continue using your PC.
