Adept’s Staffing and Contract Placement is striving to be a leader in the provision of high quality professional temporary and permanent staffing services to GTA area based mid-size and large businesses across an array of industries. We plan to represent the full spectrum of staffing services for qualified personnel to meet the needs of companies - from small, emerging growth companies to Fortune

500 clients. We would specialize in temporary, temp-to-hire and direct placement for our staffing and talented resources extend throughout Canada. We plan to focus on highly skilled professional and place them either on contract through our agency or permanently. Adept’s Staffing and Contract Placement Services is organized into several divisions:

Adept’s Staffing and Contract Placement will utilize the latest computer technology to provide on line services to both our clients and our applicants. Our online program will allow candidates and clients to provide information about themselves or their organization via the internet. By accessing this area, candidates may search for jobs that match their employment experience. They may also register online, notify our staff of their interest in any of the open jobs posted or update their personnel file when changes occur. Similarly, contract employees will be able to print time sheets off of our site and submit their time worked through this interface. Our clients will have similar access with this system. Clients may enter job orders online and track candidates that we have contacted about for their open position. They can, with permission, search for candidates available in our database that match other positions they are seeking to fill. In the first phase of operations (1st year) we plan to focus on the following industries:
1. Service Industry – main focus will be Healthcare,
2. High tech manufacturing – Automotive, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical & chemical medical devices & primary metals manufacturing industries

About the job
Our client is a fintech transforming international payments company truly passionate about delivering amazing innovation and experiences to our customers.

As a Java Microservices Developer (Full stack), you will:
• Design, develop and maintain the individual cloud-based platform microservices that makes up the entirety of the Customer Journey Payment Solutions platform.
• Build a scalable, reliable, and high efficiency driven micro-services orchestration.
• Design and Develop private APIs and messaging endpoints for your services for rich functionality and administrative control within the platform.
• Ideal candidate should have solid understanding and experience in building server-side components in a hosted cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure).


Qualifications and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a JAVA backend microservices developer in delivering highly available and scalable applications in a cloud operating environment.
• Expertise in developing Java Microservices using spring boot, docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Experience building, testing, and consuming REST APIs
• SQL & Non-SQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB preferred)
• Strong Linux experience

Nice to haves
• Message Queues: Kafka, Solace
•Payments/Digital Money Movement experience
• Experience with high-throughput messaging technologies and patterns; Kafka and/or related technologies a plus.
• Exposure to databases of any types relational, analytical, columnar, etc; including Postgres, along with MongoDB, a plus
• Experience with Git source control and building/maintaining Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines; Jenkins experience a plus.
