Emmanouel aka Mano Di Candia, Catman4, Manu is a music lover like most people. Not a professional DJ but regularly spinning, he started DJing in Hersonissos at the age of 15. Soon enough after exploring all kinds of music from classical to hard rock, to funk and soul at a very young age, the one style that eventually won his heart was House. At the age of 18 started playing in Malia since Hersonis
sos was more disco at the time and made great connections with some of the top names of the 90s in the likes of 'Shades of Rhythm', 'Baby D' and 'Liquid' who all passed from the decks of the island back then. Tiesto was also one main influence in mid to late 90s since he was more like a resident at the time, along with Jean, Jurgen, Erick E and Quinten de Rozario. Never worked as a resident in any of his town's clubs since local club owners and their requests for music isnt his style, Mano kept DJing mostly for private functions, warehouse parties or abroad and trying to spice up his mixes by synthesizer or piano. Also learned how to play the bongos, djembe, congas but never quite made it with the one instrument he adores... the saxophone! With a musical ear and a passion for music Mano is still clubhopping, rather than DJing himself kind of like most A&Rs are doing around the world. Now focusing mostly on organising events, putting up shows with the islands best and many superstar DJs from abroad he is trying to establish a series of open air events the island has yet to see
