As technology progresses quickly, GenXys has its finger on the pulse of all changes.
New guidelines for clinical genotyping, focused on expanding previous guidelines for TMPT, NUDT15, CYP2C19, CYP2C9, and CYP2D6 genes, as well as those related to warfarin testing. These updates were recently published in the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics and should be implemented alongside existing clinical guidelines from organizations like CPIC and DPWG, which provide guidance on interpreting pharmacogenomic (PGx) test results and making therapeutic recommendations for specific drug-gene interactions. The AMP Pharmacogenetics Working Group highlighted relevant genes, variants, and candidates for pharmacogenetics (PGx) testing, which you can read more about at the link below.
GenXys is always staying up to date with industry changes and novel findings, which we directly implement into our clinical decision support software so that our clients are always making choices based on up-to-date and clinically relevant information and guidelines.
