Success? Success at 41 is having your business make enough in the month to pay all the bills!
All jokes aside, my idea of success when I was younger was working for a big design company at their head offices. Wearing fancy fashion clothes to work. Working in a highrise. Taking a fancy elevator up to a fancy office, just like in the Devil Wears Pradaβ¦
Actually, I did all of that, but on a much smaller scale, and on much smaller salaries in London UK in my twenties.
At 41, my idea of success is no alarm clocks, working out in the morning, swimming in the lake, and having a warm cooked breakfast, all before I start my work (from home) day on client work, or go into the restaurant for a content day.
Sure, Iβd love a few more vacations in my life, but Iβm trying to build a life that is vacation.
Burn out be gone.
Iβm ready for work that flows, clients that excite me and projects that inspire me.
Moral of the story, success isnβt the corner office β itβs not needing one. Iβm building something that is designed to help any aspiring business owner launch with success - stay tuned.
