BRANDING PROJECT LAUNCHED 🚀⠀

Before I dive into a client project, I send them a brand questionnaire that helps me understand who their dream client is and how they want them to experience their brand. This information is SO IMPORTANT when it comes to strategically designing a brand that will attract your ideal clients. ⠀
⠀
My client, Sean, needed branding for his new consultation biz, Pathright! His goal is to work with business owners and help them develop their marketing teams. As for Pathright's brand personality, the words he used to describe it were: confident, trustworthy, dependable and a little sarcastic. 😉⠀

With all those key pieces of information I was able to create a brand identity, logo icon, colour palette, typography system, graphics and imagery that would attract the type of clientele that Sean would love to work with. 🙌🏼⠀

NO-BRAINER BUSINESS INVESTMENTS 💸⠀

Over the past 3 years I've realized that investing money was the best way to see immediate financial growth in my business! ⠀
⠀
Investing in tech, education, team and myself has been the key to help me grow a design biz that earns double what I made at my last salary job. 🤯⠀
⠀
Here are my top 5, no-brainer, business investments:⠀
⠀
1. Squarespace Website 👩🏽‍💻⠀
My website brings in new leads on a weekly basis! If you're a service-based business the only way you make money is if you have clients, and the only way you get consistent work is if you have a website that brings you new leads. Investing in a strategically designed website is one of the smartest business investments you'll make!⠀

2. Laptop 💻⠀
This summer my laptop randomly shut down and I immediately spent $4k on a new MacBook Pro. I didn't even blink, because this piece of tech is the only thing that makes me money. Spending $4k on something that will make you $4k that month is a no-brainer. ⠀
⠀
3. Courses 💫⠀
I've fallen in love with taking online courses! Ever since I bought a $500 Instagram course that helped me land $6k in 1 month was INSANE! Now, I must say that you have to invest the time and energy into actually doing the course to see the results. I'm guilty of buying courses that I still haven't done yet.⠀

4. Accountant 💰⠀
Hiring an accountant was one of the first things I did in my business, because taxes stress me out! Money is a MASSIVE part of business so it's worth hiring an expert who can ensure that your business finances are all organized.⠀

5. Business Coach 🙌🏼⠀
When you invest in a business coach you can't expect this person to do all the work.. to me investing in a coach is really just investing in yourself. I love using money as a tool to really motivate me and keep me accountable. If I invest $2k I'll challenge myself to make $4k. It's amazing to see what investing can do when you bet on yourself.⠀

This month I launched stunning new brand and website for her amazing photography biz! 📸⠀

HELLO 2021! A LITTLE LIFE & BIZ UPDATE. 💕⠀

I've been really enjoying the slower pace of life here in Vancouver. Sleeping in. Beach walks. Rainy days. 🏔 The enneagram 9 in me is loving this chill way of living, however my business has been blowing up with new clients coming in. ⠀
⠀
I've got design projects booked up till March, and I've already launched 2 websites and 3 brands this month! 🙌🏼 ⠀

Now that been 2 years, full-time, with my business moving and grooving, I've decided to join LLB Mastermind for the next 6 months. ⠀
⠀
I must say that this is my biggest business investment to date, but I'm so excited to work alongside amazing entrepreneurs who are where I want to be and doing the things that I want to do. 💫 ⠀
