This week I was rejected once again for a job as not being a "good fit" after personality testing. I've been told I'm not vanilla enough to fit most corporate offices in Vancouver. The same person did also say I shouldn't turn myself into a vanilla person just to get a pay cheque. I agree, my weird brain got me to capturing this shot, so I wouldn't give it up.

I loved the composition of this shot. I think its the contrast of soft lines and hard angles, but I'm really not sure.

Apart from a beautiful sunset, I think my favourite things about traveling are all the wildlife I get to see. This was a cat who spent her days safe and cared for in stores, and presumably cared for and fed in their home somewhere. I wish all shoe stores came with store cats.

I haven't seen much snow this year, which I didn't mind, but i did wonder what that meant for water shortages this year....

I've been a lot more places this spring, but they were all formative places, though some more than others. This trip to Toronto I finally got to explore Union Station. I had no idea it was so beautiful. I love an old train station.
