MEET Caleb Barnes - Lead Web Developer.

Caleb got his start as a web developer at the age of 15 when he launched an online business modding video games and quickly realized he needed a website if he was going to enjoy any commercial success at it. With the development of his first site, Caleb discovered a life-long passion for research and learning new web development technology. His pursuits led to a successful stint as a contract web developer, as well as the opportunity to run his own server hosting and rental service from his hometown of Port Alberni, BC.

René began his career as a certified web developer after completing the Web Development program at Lighthouse Labs.

Starting out as a junior developer at New District, René then spent the next several years becoming highly proficient in GatsbyJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, ElectronJS, and GraphQL, to name just a few of the development tools that bow to his command. Now a full-fledged member of the Jambaree team, René implements award-winning design and maintains rock-solid, leading-edge code for Jambaree clients.

René is an intrepid hiker, a competitive gamer and can put both his legs behind his head (apparently). He also holds the distinction of being the youngest person to ever graduate from Lighthouse Labs at the age of 4 (according to him; we think it’s closer to 19).
