I’ve been asked by a couple of people whether the Zoom videoconferencing app is a security risk. I’ve not heard about any security breaches, and a quick Google search didn’t bring up any hits. I have found concerns expressed about possible privacy issues with some features which allow a chat host to track your attention, like whether you’re actually watching the chat screen or have clicked away, for instance. The only other thing I’ve read about is the usual concerns about use of data collected for targeting advertising, much like every online service.
