Yesterday I had the honour of being invited to the House of Commons in Ottawa to testify before committee on the state of creative and performance spaces in Canada.
As a representative of The Marigold Cultural Centre it was a true privilege to speak for our theatre but also all artists and presenters in our beautiful province of Nova Scotia. The other witnesses were phenomenal and gave amazing insight into some truly creative ideas coming from our sector. If you happened to be watching CPAC you may have noticed a familiar face! I hope to have the footage available soon!
