When I first started working with therapists, death doulas, social workers, chaplains, and wellness professionals, I noticed something interesting.
Most weren't struggling because they lacked expertise.
They were struggling because they felt they had to become marketers.
Learn SEO.
Master social media.
Figure out funnels.
Write sales copy.
Create content.
Track analytics.
And somewhere along the way, they started spending more time learning marketing than doing the work they actually love.
Here's what I've learned after 25+ years in digital marketing:
You trained to help people.
Not to spend hours figuring out algorithms, funnels, and social media trends.
Marketing shouldn't feel manipulative.
It shouldn't feel like you're convincing people to work with you.
Good marketing simply helps the right people find the support they're already looking for.
That's it.
What part of marketing feels most uncomfortable to you right now?
