Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude? Our answer is the most annoying one in consulting: it depends. πŸ˜…
But hear us out...

It depends on where your data lives, what the AI needs to do, and who’s going to use it. Microsoft, OpenAI, and Claude each bring something different to the table. Knowing which one fits, and when, is where real expertise shows up.

Working across all three has long been part of how we build AI at Troon Technologies. And now there’s another credential to back it up: Anthropic’s Claude certification. πŸŽ‰

Claude isn’t new territory for us. The certification adds formal recognition to expertise our team has been putting to work on client systems for years.

In our latest article, we cover:
β†’ What the certification means for clients
β†’ Why β€œit depends” is only worth hearing from certain people
β†’ Six questions every AI firm should be able to answer before you sign
(We’ll happily answer all six.)

AI doesn’t have to transform an entire department to be worth the investment. Sometimes, the best place to start is much less exciting. Preparing for a meeting.

Finding information buried across emails and documents.

Compiling a daily briefing.

Give five employees two hours back each week and, over 48 working weeks, that’s 480 hours returned to the business.

The trick is knowing which work is actually worth putting AI against.

A good first workflow tends to have a few things in common: it happens often, involves a lot of gathering or assembling information, keeps a person in control, uses information you already manage, and measures how much time it saves.

We unpack how to find these opportunities and what comes after in our latest article.

Your AI experiment worked. Your team has tried ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot. They’ve found tools they like, built their own workflows and figured out where AI saves them time.

Now comes a different problem. How many AI subscriptions is your company paying for? Which workflows are actually useful? What company information is being entered? What should become standard? And if the person who built a great workflow leaves, does the company keep it?

For many companies, experimentation has become part of how the business works without anyone deliberately designing it that way.

The next step isn’t more AI. It’s figuring out what works, making it repeatable and measuring whether it actually makes the business better.

That’s what we built AI Jumpstart to do.

In two weeks, we identify where AI can create practical value in the work your team already does, implement two workflows around your existing tools, put the right permissions and guardrails around them, and get your team using them on real work.

Then we measure what changed.

Two weeks to move from experimenting with AI to actually putting it to work.

Building AI is one thing. Watching thousands of people actually use it is something completely different. Across one of our AI implementations, we've now analyzed more than 80,000 conversations, and one pattern keeps appearing.

When people don't get a useful answer, it's usually not because the AI failed. It's because the information wasn't available in a form AI could retrieve.

The lesson: AI can only reason with what it can reach.

That's why successful AI projects spend as much time improving knowledge architecture as they do choosing models.

The future of enterprise AI isn't just smarter models. It's better information.

For the last two years, the conversation has been the same: Ship faster. Do more. Put AI on everything. Now we're seeing a different pattern emerge. As organizations move beyond AI pilots and into production, they're discovering that speed was never the hardest problem to solve.

Judgment is.

AI can generate code, content, designs, and reports in seconds. But it still can't reliably tell you when something is subtly wrong, missing context, or simply not good enough.

This isn't new.

Photoshop didn't replace photographers or designers. It made many tasks dramatically faster. Effects that once took hours could suddenly be created in minutes.

But speed wasn't the end of the story.

The value shifted. Anyone could add a shadow or remove an object. Knowing whether the edit looked natural, supported the composition, or improved the image still required experience.

AI is doing the same thing to knowledge work. Creating the first draft has become incredibly fast. Knowing whether it's accurate, complete, and ready to use is where expertise still matters.

Everyone is still talking about bigger AI models, however the companies quietly creating competitive advantage are talking about something else.

They're asking:
β€’ How do we integrate AI into existing workflows?
β€’ How do we connect fragmented company knowledge?
β€’ How do we measure ROI?
β€’ How do we make AI reliable enough for production?

The next phase of AI isn't about chasing the newest model, it's more about building systems that people actually use. This is where long-term value is created.

At Troon, we've been seeing this shift firsthand as we help organizations move beyond AI experiments into production-ready solutions.

The hype cycle may be slowing, but the real work is just beginning.

Some websites tell you what a company does, others make you feel it. When Wynford approached us, they weren't looking for another corporate website. They wanted a digital experience that reflected the creativity and energy behind every event they produce.
βœ” Immersive UI/UX
βœ” Custom WordPress development
βœ” GSAP-powered motion
βœ” Scroll-driven storytelling
βœ” Interactive transitions

The goal wasn't animation for the sake of animation. Every interaction was designed to strengthen the brand experience.

Take a look at what we created.

You don't see the conversations that shape the software. The call where we tell a client their original idea needs rethinking, and why that's the most valuable thing we can do for them.

The whiteboard session and endless user flows where three different approaches get mapped out, debated, and one gets chosen because it's right for their business, not because it's easiest for us.

The moment mid-build where something changes, a business pivot, a new requirement, a tighter deadline, and the team adjusts without drama.

The final review, where we walk through every detail before anything goes live, because "good enough" isn't a phrase we're comfortable with.

None of this shows up in a screenshot or a feature list.

But it's exactly what separates software that works from software that lasts.

This is how we build at Troon. Carefully. Collaboratively. Without shortcuts.

Choosing a technology partner is a leap of faith. You're trusting someone with your mission, your deadlines, and the systems your organization depends on every day.

The difference between a vendor and a true partner isn't flashy features or a polished pitch. It's whether they actually listen. Whether they follow through. Whether they still show up when things get hard.

We're proud to work alongside organizations who've taken that leap with us β€” and trusted us to build something that matters.

Their words say it better than we ever could.

Ready to find a partner who gets it?

A tool bolted on here. A plugin added there. A quick fix just to keep things moving. It works, until it doesn't.

Then the bugs come more often. Pages slow down. Integrations start fighting each other. And every update feels like a risk you can't afford to take.

Growth didn't break your system. It just revealed what your system was never built to handle.

That's the difference between a stacked tech house and a system built for you.

At Troon, we replace fragile, pieced-together stacks with custom, high-performance builds that are designed to carry your business goals, not collapse under them. Our process starts with an indepth discovery to understand your needs and a product blueprint to perfectly map out your solution.

Build it right. Build it once. Build with Troon.
