Hello Everyone! I wanted to share this picture of my Aurex PC-X88AD by Toshiba. It's a great sounding deck. It is also the deck that best displays any tape on its cassette well. On display is a 1985 Sony Music Pops C60 (Watermelon), that just seems to have been specifically crafted for this Aurex deck.
On a different note, many prices have been lowered on many cassettes due to 2 recent large purchases. I did not announce it, but some of you have been taking great advantage of the many deals! Good of you! Cheers!
Look it up at cassettecomeback.com

Up for grabs... two early 80's boomboxes for those that have the nack and the knowhow to bring them back to their former glory.
Aesthetically, they are in very nice shape, the Aiwa much more so than the JVC. These do not work at all. They power up, but not much else happens. They are currently listed here at cassettecomeback.com and also listed on eBay. Get all of the information you need in the respective cassettecomeback listings.
Bidding (on eBay) starts at $10 for the JVC RC-M60L and $25 for the Aiwa TPR-990K. Happy bidding! AI helped me with this image!

Just checking in with a very few of these nostalgic Computer tapes. I remember using these first in my Computer Sciences class in High School, Brother Edmund Rice Secondary School in Toronto, back in the fall of 1981... such great memories of my time in High School and the 80's... Oh well. There are only 7 available, and I'm sorry, but I'm only making one of these available at a time. So, whenever one sells, another one will be made available.

Hope everyone is doing well! Cheers!

Great Tapes Don’t Have to Cost a Fortune
For more info, go to: www.cassettecomeback.com
If you’re looking for quality blank tapes without collector‑level prices, the site carries 80+ affordable Type I and Type II options, all new old stock, all sealed, and all priced far below anything comparable today.
(The photo shows just 37 of them.)
Type I: $1.92–$3.99
Type II: $6.95–$8.99
These vintage tapes still outperform most modern production in sound, consistency, value, and decades of real‑world use show that well‑stored Type I, II, III, and IV tapes hold up beautifully.
One‑stop shopping: Buy 10 or 20 tapes in one order, one shipping cost — not 10 separate sellers and 10 separate fees.
Loyalty rewards: Up to 12% discounts from the loyalty program.
Accurate grading: You get exactly what you expect, with detailed descriptions and no surprises.
And if you are hunting for the rare jewels, those are priced competitively and aggressively against other known sites, but no one should expect gold at the price of silver.
If you want reliability, quality, and affordability in the same place, these tapes deliver all three.
For more information go to: www.cassettecomeback.com
Minimum purchase amount: 2 cassettes, any combination.
Cheers!

Just landed: a colourful South American haul with some unexpected gems…
A shipment of roughly 125 tapes has arrived, mixing familiar favourites with a few surprises, including Sony’s vibrant HIP POP 60 from 1988, complete with yellow hubs, clear shells, and a quality black metallic label (being added to the site now). Only a small number are available, and more tapes will be added shortly as the lot is sorted.
Please find these tapes at cassettecomeback.com and please remember, minimum order is any combination of 2 cassettes.
Thank you!

Hello everyone. I am pleased to share a preview of some exciting surprises that have recently arrived from South America, courtesy of a valued friend. The rest of the lot will be posted here shortly. At first glance, this unusual “Silver” cassette seemed unremarkable, but then I discovered its connection to 'Crown', the esteemed Silver Crown Electronics Corp., the Japanese company behind exceptional Hi-Fi equipment and iconic Boomboxes like the CSC-970. As it turns out, it's an incredibly rare sealed cassette. It will be available at cassettecomeback.com within the hour or less. Minimum order is any combination of 2 cassettes. Happy Collecting! ort

Welcome to 2026! Here is our first batch of "new" blank cassette tapes for the year. These tapes came from different sources, but a good friend contributed with most of the ones you see here. It's an unusual batch for me, as for most are from the Japanese market. A very challlenging market from what I hear, that has gotten ever so more and more expensive. Nonetheless, we've got ourselves a sweet selection here at cassettecomeback.com to start 2026 with. Keep in mind, these cassettes are for the most part dingged with small wrapper cuts and rips, and many have moderate scuffing on them, and a handfull have some cracked or broken cases. It is still an amazing lot. Many have already been added to the site, and all will be added within the next two days. Wishing you all the best! Happy collecting and happy recordings! Cheers! 🍾
