XAEL Music Maker (Xaida Insignia Productions) is a local, offline music engine--not an AI composer.

You pick a genre, seed, or RPG “Full Deck” slot; JavaScript writes interlocking MIDI; the browser plays it with Web Audio; you export a Type-1 .mid.

After one npm install, it runs with no internet, models, GPU, or API key. “Intelligence” is music theory, genre recipes, and a seeded RNG.

AI only listens to a finished clip and can sharpen album-bible notes--it never writes the notes.

Use: pick a genre → Discover (six arrangements) or Quick Game Generator (one of 20 RPG slots: title, town night, boss, campfire, ending, etc.) → play, lock melody, swap genre, export.

Drop a MIDI or type a motif (C4 E4 G4 A4) to seed. Same motif, different genre = same job, new “band.”

Stack: generate.ts is the composer (form → chords → motif → melody/drums/bass/harmony).

Zustand studio store, piano roll, track lock/mute/solo, recipe panel. Sign-in/library is optional and network-only.
