From a pilot project with just a few classrooms to a multi-city showcase celebrating nearly 1,000 students, we loved helping Career Education Council’s (CEC) Develop the Future program grow over the years.

We transformed venues across Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal into fully branded, immersive environments. By building a comprehensive framework of physical and digital assets, we also equipped CEC to run these showcases independently moving forward.

We’re excited to share the second chapter of our seasonal watercolour series for First Gulf. 🌸

As the seasons shift, our digital display wall at the Globe and Mail Centre welcomes a tranquil, atmospheric landscape. Following the aesthetic of our previous autumn mural, this piece brings a sense of renewal to the lobby through soft cherry blossoms and misty mountain vistas. Shimmering ripples catch the light across the 12 panels, creating a fluid, reflective movement that unifies the entire display.

This artwork will run until the last day of spring, with Summer and Winter watercolours still to come.

In keeping with our unofficial tradition of moving offices every few years, it was that time again in 2026. Staying in the same building, Forge shifted our home a few units down at 171 East Liberty.

Our new office has an improved collaborative vibe, bigger windows in the studio and everyone’s favourite amenity—a sink! With this upgrade, we’re quietly hoping fewer team members will be taking forks home with them at the end of the day.

For those who have been with Forge for a while, these moves are a great opportunity to do a deep clean and prioritize what we really need. Hopefully, kilometres of Ethernet cables won’t become de rigueur again in 2027.

It was an all-hands-on-deck affair, with everyone pitching in to get the job done as painlessly as possible, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the new space.

Forge is pleased to continue our ongoing partnership with the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) by launching the official site for this year’s Invest Conference.

Every year, this premier event travels to a new city with a fresh branded identity. For 2026, the conference is heading to Halifax, and to honour this maritime setting, the branding features a wave motif that flows throughout the digital experience.

Our goal was to evolve the platform while keeping the project lean and efficient. We focused on:

☑️ Extending Functionality: Building on the existing system to support new attendee needs.
☑️ Codebase Streamlining: Cleaning up the backend to ensure lightning-fast performance.
☑️ Feature Innovation: Adding new tools for 2026 without breaking the budget or the timeline.

Love in motion. 🌸 Our latest 12-screen installation at the Globe and Mail Centre explores abstract movement across the first 11 panels, which then resolve on the largest screen into recognizable, symbolic expressions of love, from a shared umbrella in the rain to a child’s first skate.

Using organic watercolour spills, the piece evokes the season’s mood through colour and atmosphere.

Designed in Photoshop and animated in collaboration with SharkTank Digital.

New Case Study Alert! We partnered with CVCA, the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, to completely overhaul their digital platforms. To elevate the user experience, we reimagined three core digital properties: their main association website, their annual Invest Conference site(s), and the CVCA Central industry data hub. The result is a cohesive brand experience across all three domains, serving each audience and providing robust data visualization and CRM integrations. Plus, we’re proud to be their ongoing partner, providing continued maintenance and updates to ensure ongoing peak performance.

In 2012, Forge was challenged to implement a compelling and effective wayfinding solution on a restricted budget for Infrastructure Ontario’s headquarters at 222 Jarvis Street in Toronto.

As a provincial government office, meeting rooms were named after towns across Ontario, strengthening the building’s brand and creating memorable landmarks to help users find their way. The signage was carefully scaled to each space, with large-scale beacons in main public areas and smaller, more detailed wayfinding signs approaching the workspaces.

The result is an economical wayfinding solution that honours the building’s contemporary architecture with a cohesive, visually integrated design — one we’re proud to showcase as part of our 20th-anniversary celebration. Click through the album to explore the project!

🎃 Happy Halloween from Forge Media + Design! 🎃

We created this spooktacular animation for First Gulf at The Globe and Mail Centre in Toronto.

This illustration is a single piece of digital illustration, spanning all 12 vertical LED displays to create the illusion of looking out a series of windows into a haunted scene. Watch how the animation seamlessly flows from screen to screen!

We’re proud to have grown this installation into a full content service over the past 6-7 years, continually breathing new life into the space for tenants and visitors alike with the changing seasons.
