Canada's Premiere Metal Detecting Beach Hunt is less than a week away!
We are just putting the finishing touches on preparations for this amazing event and are thankful for the tremendous support from our vendors, especially Nokta Detectors, Garrett Metal Detectors and @ Minelab Metal Detectors and the amazing teams that they are sending to the event, adding special touches to make this event one of the most memorable ever, but all of this could not happen without a great team of volunteers too. There are a dozen people who have offered to assist in ensuring that this day will be a complete success and if the reports are correct, Mother Nature will bless us with an amazing day too!
We will be giving away thirteen (13) Metal Detectors, thirteen (13) Pinpointers, Digging Tools, .999 Silver Coins, Tokens and 80:20 Collectable Coins, Tokens and more! Every attendee will receive a Gift Bag with a Nokta Detectors Ball Cap, a Garrett Finds Case, a Raffle Ticket and access to a FREE BBQ Lunch.
Last minute tickets will be available up until the end of the week, however all tickets must be purchased before noon on Friday August 28th, 2026. Sorry no Walk-ins allowed.
In closing, I want to remind everyone that paid parking is limited and the site is serviced by the TTC. Please prepare for any weather occasions, special diet restrictions and other related needs.
Woodbine Beach Park spans 15.2 hectares along Toronto's Lake Ontario shoreline. It features a renovated bathing station with accessible washrooms and change rooms and a massive beach area. NOTE: The volleyball hub is strictly OUT OF BOUNDS at all times and care must be taken when crossing the boardwalk and Martin Goodman Trail (bicycles).
