Hey, IG fam! It's been a while since I last posted, and I wanted to share a personal story with you today.

Over the past year, I've been away from IG, and you might be wondering why. Life threw me a curveball in the form of burnout and body aches that I couldn't ignore. 🤕 It was a wake-up call that reminded me of the importance of taking care of my body and mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You see, I've always been a go-getter, someone, who constantly pushed myself to achieve more, do more, and be more. But as time went on, I found myself running on empty, feeling exhausted and drained both physically and mentally. It was as if I had hit a roadblock that I couldn't overcome.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One day, my body decided to rebel against this constant hustle. It started with small whispers – aches here, fatigue there. I brushed them off, thinking it was just a passing phase. But those whispers grew louder, turning into shouts that demanded my attention. It was then that I realized I needed to pause and listen.

So, I made the tough decision to step away from the fast-paced world of IG.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
During my time away, here's what I discovered:

1️⃣ Listen to your body: Your body is a powerful messenger, and it knows when it's time to slow down. Pay attention to the signs it gives you.

2️⃣ Set boundaries: Learn to say no when you need to. It's okay to prioritize your well-being and protect your time and energy.

3️⃣ Practice self-care: Carve out time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Take breaks: Regularly schedule breaks in your day and vacations throughout the year. Give yourself permission to disconnect and recharge

Now that I've taken the time I needed to heal and recharge, I'm excited to be back on IG, but with a newfound perspective.
