Starting the week with a sub (3 months! 💕) while I sketch and sculpt a new duck. Usually my sketches are a bit messy just to get the idea, but I really like how cute this one turned out. Setting too high of a bar with a cute sketch makes the sculpting portion hard. Hope I can finish this captain duck! 🤞

Sometimes my process is to do some rough 2D sketches in the Goodnotes app before diving into Nomad Sculpt to sculpt it in 3D. Sketching before sculpting can help me spot design issues earlier in my creative process. What's your creative process?

What are your thoughts? As a 3D model designer, I try to design 3D printable models that don't require supports...selfishly because I don't want to deal with supports -- not only the removal of them from the prints, but also setting them up in the slicer (and trying to adjust support settings for a quality print). I just want as little post-processing as possible.

Do you care whether models require supports?

When was the last time I saw an apple with a leaf attached? This is what happens when I don't look up reference photos first.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great morning! I had my first Monday morning stream.
Starting the week with a stream and a little sculpting -- I've set it as a recurring series on my Twitch schedule, so it's a thing now! Only scheduled it for an hour so I don't over-commit, but I'll likely stream longer as time allows each Monday.
