At Web Summit Vancouver, we had the chance to connect with the team behind Caseway, a Vancouver-based AI company building enterprise-grade systems for legal research, document automation, and regulated workflows.
What stood out was the seriousness of the problem they are solving.
AI gets a lot of attention when it writes, summarizes, or chats. But the deeper opportunity is in the places where accuracy, privacy, structure, and trust actually matter.
That is where Caseway is operating.
Their platform is focused on helping organizations work with complex legal and regulated documents, including legal research, court form automation, document intelligence, and secure data workflows.
This is not lightweight productivity theatre. This is infrastructure for the kind of work where people need better systems, not more tabs open.
Led by founder Alistar, Caseway brings together legal industry experience, AI tooling, enterprise workflow thinking, and a clear focus on making document-heavy work faster, more reliable, and more accessible.
It was great meeting the Caseway team at Web Summit and seeing another Vancouver company building in a space where applied AI can create real operational change.
Companies like this are important to the startup ecosystem because they are not chasing noise. They are taking on the messy, necessary problems that sit underneath entire industries.
Great meeting you, Caseway.
