With summer vaycay coming to an end, we would like to give a HUGE shout out to our amazing community with all the donations to the BPDS Breakfast Program from the North of the Checkerboard Classics Bike & Car Show! From the $$ from the specials to all the donations, we are so proud to say that Sunday nights raised $4300!!!! Huge thank you to Connor Rouse for coming up with the idea!! Good job!!

Closures Due to Increased Bear Activity:
1) Cyprus Lake Campground: Closed now through September 7
2) Grotto Parking: Evening parking slots (4 pm to 8 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm) at the Grotto are cancelled up to Sunday, September 6. Reservations at other parking areas remain unchanged.

Parks Canada will continue to assess bear activity and communicate with reservation holders and the public if further closures are needed.

UPDATED NOTICE: Cyprus Lake Campground is closed now through September 3 due to increased bear activity.

Parks Canada will reassess bear activity at that time to determine if any further closures are needed. We will continue to communicate with campers and the public once the campground can be safely reopened.

Day use areas remain open at this time.

What is a Rainbow Hike? A Rainbow Hike is an organized BTC hike which creates a welcoming and safe space for 2SLGBTQIA+ foix, families, friends and allies to explore the outdoors on the Bruce Trail.

PBTC Rainbow Hikes are planned in collaboration with Grey Bruce Pride and Q***r Club Grey Bruce.

Join us for our next PBTC Rainbow Hike on September 19th @ Cape Croker Park, located at 112 Park Road, Wiarton.
