Every connection begins with listening.
Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Turnkey Communications team pauses to reflect, honour, and remember the children who never came home, the Survivors of the residential school system, their families, and their communities.
We know that reconciliation is not just a statementβit is an ongoing responsibility that demands tangible action. Guided by our Director of Indigenous Engagement, Denise Atkinson, we are committed to moving beyond words and focusing on true economic reconciliation across Canada.
When we build infrastructure, we believe it must serve the people whose land it sits on. Through partnerships and Joint Ventures like Tipihorse Turnkey, our goal is digital sovereignty. We are dedicated to creating local jobs, keeping technical expertise within the community, and building networks that First Nations own and control long after the initial build is complete.
Real partnership requires us to listen first, and build second.
Our offices are closed today to give our team the time and space to reflect, learn, and engage with the heavy truths of this day.
Every Child Matters. π§‘
