Is your internet slow, or is it your Wi-Fi? 🤔

Most people blame their computer. But a quick speed test tells you the real answer in 60 seconds.

Just open your browser, type "speedtest.net," and hit Go. If the number is low, the problem might be your router, not your device.

Not sure what the numbers mean? We're happy to walk you through it.

Give us a call or stop by. MDG Computers Tecumseh is always here to help. 💻

📞 SCAM ALERT: How to Spot Fake Amazon & Microsoft Calls 🧡

We've seen too many senior customers come in after getting scammed. So here's a simple guide to help you stay safe.

🛒 FAKE AMAZON SCAMS — Watch For:
• Calls/emails about "suspicious activity" when you didn't buy anything
• Links to "verify your account" or "cancel an order" you never placed
• Pressure to act FAST — "Your account will be locked!"
• Sender addresses that look slightly off
• Asking for your password, card number, or one-time code

Amazon will NEVER call you for your password or payment info. Open Amazon yourself — don't click the link.

💻 FAKE MICROSOFT SUPPORT CALLS — Watch For:
• Someone calls saying "Your computer has a virus"
• Pop-ups saying "VIRUS DETECTED — Call this number!"
• Requests for remote access to "fix it"
• Payment in gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfers

MICROSOFT WILL NEVER CALL YOU. They don't monitor your computer. If you get one of these calls, it's a scam — every time.

✅ WHAT TO DO:
• DON'T click links in suspicious emails
• DON'T give anyone remote access
• DON'T pay with gift cards or crypto
• HANG UP — you don't owe a stranger politeness
• When in doubt, CALL US

We treat our clients as family. If something feels off, call us first — no judgment, no charge for a quick question. We'd rather you ask than lose money to a scammer.
