Lunch, two extra guests, and a moment worth keeping. 🐾 The ordinary days deserve a place in your camera roll too. What everyday memory are you glad you recorded?

Tapes, photos, film reels. Which format holds your best memories? 📼

I'll die on this hill: physical media made people care about albums, films, and collections in a way endless scrolling never will.

Owning something meant returning to it. Scrolling just moves you past it. Porthos Media digitizes your VHS, film reels, photos & audio so those collections survive past the format they're stuck on. So that you can return to it. Link in bio to start an order.

The photo is so cool! We once found footage of a GOP parade in Clearwater Florida in 9167! That’s a long way from Summerland!

Skipping songs made music worse. Albums were better when changing tracks required enough effort that you just listened to the whole thing.

Old formats forced intention. Now the memories stuck on them are disappearing too. Porthos Media transfers your VHS, film reels, photos & audio to digital files that last. Link in bio to start an order.

Digitizing your family photos is only half the job. 🗂️

You can't change my mind: DVDs were better than streaming because bonus features, commentaries and menus actually made movies feel special. A director walking you through their choices scene by scene is an experience no algorithm has replicated. If those discs are collecting dust, don't let that extra content disappear too. We digitize DVDs and all your physical media so it lasts for good. Link in bio to get started.

Our new guide covers how to structure one, how many photos to use, choosing music that actually fits the person, and the common mistakes to avoid when you're putting it together on a tight timeline.
