This computer wasn't infected...

It was simply clogged with years of dust.

Dust causes:
• Overheating
• Loud fans
• Slower performance

A quick cleaning can make a surprising difference.

Does your computer take forever to start?

You don't always need to replace it.

Some of the most common issues I see are:

🖥️ Slow startup times
❄️ Frequent freezing or crashing
🌡️ Overheating or constantly loud fans

Many of these problems can be fixed with a proper diagnosis, software cleanup, or an affordable hardware upgrade.

If you're not sure whether your computer is worth repairing, I'm happy to take a look and give you honest advice—no pressure.

Sharing this because I've seen so many people get tricked by this — myself included before I knew better.

If you ever see a full-screen red or blue pop-up on your Windows computer saying your computer is infected and to call a number immediately — DO NOT CALL.

That number is a scam. Microsoft will NEVER ask you to call a phone number on your screen. Neither will your bank, nor your internet provider.

I put together a free 2-page checklist that shows you:
✔ How to tell a real Windows alert from a fake one
✔ How to safely close the scary pop-up without calling anyone
✔ How to check if your computer actually has a virus (it probably doesn't)

It's completely free. No email needed. Just download it and keep it somewhere handy.

Hope it helps someone. Feel free to share it with anyone who might need it.

Today I saw a laptop that kept showing constant pop-ups and security warnings. The cause turned out to be a fake software installer that had been downloaded accidentally. Once the malicious software was removed, the pop-ups stopped and the system was back to normal. Always be careful when downloading free software from unfamiliar websites.

Heads up for everyone: I recently saw a few emails pretending to be delivery notifications asking people to click a link to confirm a package. These emails look very real but are actually scams designed to steal login information. If you receive an unexpected email asking you to click a link or download something, it’s always best to double-check the sender first.

When in doubt, don’t click.

A lot of people replace their computers too soon.

Sometimes a simple upgrade can extend the life of a device for several more years.

Before buying a new laptop, it may be worth checking what improvements are possible.
