* THE TOWN OF STONY PLAIN'S EXCELLENT BR+E ACTION PLANNING WORKSHOP
Panda Rose Consulting Studios Inc. attended this fantastic, valuable, enlightening, and interesting event, for which businesses and partners came together to review survey findings, identify shared priorities, and help shape practical actions that support local business success.
Thank you very much to the University of Alberta Cities Institute (https://www.ualberta.ca/en/cities-institute/index.html), for providing the results to your survey's findings and leading a terrific workshop for the local biz community, during which attendees shared their positive and negative experiences, as well as failures and frustrations, solutions, aspirations, and optimistic views.
As valued members of the Town of Stony Plain's Business Resource Network, attendees contributed to the discussion by:
- Listening to businesses and engaging directly in conversation
- Reviewing key insights from the BR+E Survey
- Identifying where supports already exist within their organization
- Highlighting gaps, opportunities, or areas for alignment
- Helping shape practical and achievable action items
Some opportunities aligned with existing programs and services, while others required further collaboration to move forward.
The Town’s Business Retention & Expansion (BR+E) Survey provided valuable information. Fellow businesses & organizations, as well as Town representatives, helped turn these into coordinated, practical actions, in support of local business growth and success.
During this interactive session, participants reviewed key themes from the survey, identified shared priorities and opportunities, and helped shape practical next steps.
Registered participants had received a draft BR+E Survey Report in advance, to support informed discussion.
Everyone's perspective and expertise helped ensure that actions were collaborative, aligned, and impactful.
All in all, a hugely successful, fun, interactive, interesting, and at times, passionately entertaining gathering!
