Disaster!

Last week we posted that the 50% Tariffs did not affect artworks from Canada to the US.

Well, we were wrong.

From Aug 22nd, the tariffs have taken affect and all Canadian made artworks are subject to a 50% tariff when entering the US.

This is going to have a huge impact on Canadian artists who have a US market, this includes JRP.

We are working with arts advocates like SaskArtsAlliance and Carfac to advocate on behalf of the industry and get federal support for the industry and hopefully just have these ridiculous tariffs removed.

We recently pulled this magnificent print out of our drawers to have it professionally photographed by Christina Weese.
(We will post her photos sometime next week)

The print will be packed and shipped to Long Island to a private collector.

(This is one of those special prints that will last the rest of time and we are happy it has found a home.)
