Jared and Fateme are on the ground this week at the Provincial Conference 👋

This is our 4th time attending, and our first time as a sponsor, which makes this one extra special for us.

Last night, we had the chance to tour the St. Albert Food Bank & Community Village, an incredible space, and share some great cocktails and even better conversations with folks from across the network.

Today the conference officially kicks off, and we’re looking forward to new conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces, and continuing to learn how food banks are adapting and growing.

This year’s theme, “Rooted in Resilience, Growing Forward,” really resonates. It’s inspiring to see the work happening across Alberta.

It might sound a little out there—but as space exploration becomes more real, so does the need for practical systems like food distribution.

We’re excited to share that Levis Tech has been named a finalist for the Innovation Award at the 2026 NSBA Business Builder Awards for our work on FoodCopia - Inventory Software & More for Food Banks !

FoodCopia was built to help food banks manage the complex logistics of inventory, donations, and distribution. Unlike traditional warehouse software, it’s designed specifically for the realities food banks face every day — from unpredictable donations to sorting and distributing thousands of different items.

Over the past few years we’ve had the privilege of working closely with food banks across Western Canada to shape the platform and build something that truly supports their mission.

A big thank you to the organizations who helped guide this work, and to NSBA for the recognition.

🚀 FoodCopia just leveled up. Big time.

We want to start by saying thank you to the food banks and partner organizations we’ve been working with across Canada and the U.S.

This release was built in close collaboration with you. Over the weeks leading up to the holidays, our team was working around the clock, testing, refining, and shipping improvements in real time — often while staying in constant contact with food bank staff who were right in the middle of their busiest season. Your feedback, patience, and honesty directly shaped what FoodCopia is today.

We quietly launched a major FoodCopia update just before the Christmas holidays, and it’s easily the biggest leap forward since the platform began. Internally, it’s been hard not to call this FoodCopia 2.0.
