LAS VEGAS – The Parnelli Ballot for the 24th annual awards ceremony has been finalized, and voting has begun! The ballot is posted online at parnelliawards.com, and it’s up to YOU, the FRONT of HOUSE reader, to decide who among the nominees will step up to the awards podium on Jan. 24, 2026 at the Anaheim Hilton in Anaheim, CA during the NAMM Show.

Only current subscribers to Projection, Lights & Staging News [PLSN] and FRONT of HOUSE [FOH] magazines get to vote! The direct link is www.parnelliawards.com/vote.

You can help decide who among the nominees gets the next Parnelli nod, including this year’s best Sound Company, Hometown Hero Sound Company, FOH Mixer, Monitor Mixer, System Tech and more. There are also awards honoring companies involved in lighting, video, staging, rigging, pyro, trucking and freight forwarding, plus Indispensable Technology (“IT”) awards in the Audio, Lighting, Video and Staging/Effects categories.

The voting continues until Dec. 12, 2025. After that, the votes will be tallied, and the top-secret list of winners will be carefully guarded until the envelopes are opened at the podium on Jan. 24, 2026. That’s when these backstage winners will share the limelight with this year’s career honorees: tour manager Marty Hom (Lifetime), Whirlwind founder Michael Laiacona (Audio Innovator), and production and lighting designer Marc Brickman (Visionary).

Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We are so proud to once again represent Canada as this year's Hometown Hero Sound Company Nomination winner.

LAS VEGAS – The votes are in, and FOH is pleased to announce the regional winners of this year’s Hometown Hero sound company contest, with one winning company for each of five U.S. regions and a sixth for all of Canada. All six are now finalists for the Parnelli award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year.

The Parnelli voting ballot, set to go live in late October for voting from PLSN and FOH magazine subscribers, will include these six regional winners. Parnelli voting will continue through November, and the company with the most votes will be honored with the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero – Sound Company of the Year.

The six finalists, by region, are:

Canada: KiAN Sound, Richmond, BC

Northeast: Showtime Sound, Frederick, MD
Southeast: Spider Ranch Productions, Ocala, FL
Midwest: Loud and Clear, Cincinnati, OH
Northwest: Point Source Inc., Tacoma, WA
Southwest: Sound Ideas Production Group, Plano TX
