⚠️ Important Alert for Joomla Website Owners

The Joomla team released a major security update today. Joomla 6.1.4 and 5.4.9. Patching 16 security vulnerabilities in the core CMS.

Some of the issues fixed include the ability for attackers to:

Bypass two-factor authentication
Create unauthorized user accounts
Delete folders from your server
Inject malicious scripts (XSS) into your site

This affects ALL Joomla sites that haven't been updated yet.

The fix is simple: update your Joomla installation. But if you're not sure how to do it safely or want someone to check that your site is clean and protected. We can help.

IDL Web Inc. has been working with Joomla for 20+ years. We offer same-day updates, security audits, and full malware cleanup.

The industry can't make up its mind about AI content.

One month it's "AI will tank your rankings," the next it's "just publish 50 AI articles a day and watch traffic roll in." Neither camp is looking at the actual data.

Here's what it says:

➡️ 86.5% of top-ranking pages use some AI assistance. No, AI content isn't disqualifying.

➡️ But the correlation between how much AI content a page has and where it ranks? 0.011. Basically zero. AI usage alone isn't what's moving you up or down the page.

➡️And speed without a real process has a cost. SE Ranking tracked 2,000 AI articles on new, low-authority domains, and most vanished from search within about 3 months.

So it's not AI vs. no AI. It's whether you have a workflow.

Swipe through, then let us show you the exact 7-step process we run on every client page—research to human edit to monitoring rankings after it goes live.

Our IDL team recently enjoyed a guys’ night out, a great opportunity to connect outside the office, strengthen relationships, and simply enjoy some time together.

🚨 Is your Joomla site already hacked?

A critical JCE Editor vulnerability (CVE-2026-48907) is being actively exploited worldwide — no login required. Attackers are dropping backdoors on Joomla sites right now, fully automated.

Here are 4 signs your site was hit 👇

1️⃣ Editor profiles you never created

2️⃣ A profile pinned with -99999 ordering

3️⃣ Script uploads enabled with MIME validation off

4️⃣ Unexpected PHP files hiding on disk

If you spot any of these, your site isn't just "at risk". It's already compromised.
