Documentation is more than record-keeping.

When learning is captured thoughtfully, it creates opportunities for reflection, feedback, student voice, and stronger connections with families.

Schools already rely on multiple systems to support everyday operations.

When information moves more easily between them, tasks feel simpler, workflows stay connected, and educators spend less time managing processes behind the scenes.

That’s why integration matters.

Edsby is designed to work alongside existing student information systems—helping schools create more connected experiences across communication, attendance, reporting, and student information.

Teacher workload isn’t always one big thing.

More often, it’s the smaller tasks repeated throughout the day—sharing updates, tracking progress, communicating with families, documenting learning.

When those experiences become simpler, more time opens up for what matters most.

Attendance tracking seems simple until you're managing hundreds or thousands of students across a school or district.

That's why more schools are rethinking attendance as more than a record-keeping exercise.

When attendance information is accurate, accessible, and connected to the rest of the school experience, it becomes easier to identify patterns, support students, and keep everyone informed.

If you're exploring ways to modernize attendance processes, this article breaks down the key differences between manual tracking and attendance software—and what schools should consider before making the switch.

And just like that, another Edsbyfest is in the books! ✨

Two days. Hundreds of conversations. One shared goal: supporting better K–12 experiences.

What makes Edsbyfest special year after year isn't just the sessions—it's the people. The educators sharing what's working in their schools, the district leaders exchanging ideas, and the conversations that continue long after the presentations end.

We're leaving this year's event with fresh perspectives, valuable feedback, and plenty of inspiration for what's ahead.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, and helped make another memorable gathering.

Share your favourite moments by tagging us in your posts. ⭐ Until next time! 👋

A few moments from an inspiring week at the Education World Forum 2026! 🌟

From May 17–20 in Westminster, London, education leaders, policymakers, innovators, and organizations from around the world came together to exchange ideas, share perspectives, and explore what’s next for education globally.

We’re grateful to have been part of those conversations this year as a Silver Partner.

Between the sessions, discussions, meetings, and moments in between, was filled with thoughtful dialogue around the future of learning, connected experiences, student success, and the evolving needs of education systems worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who connected with us to exchange plenty of ideas, insights, and inspiration to carry forward.

It’s that time of the year again! 🤩

Edsbyfest is back—our annual gathering where educators, district leaders, and the Edsby team come together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore what’s next for K–12 education.

This year, on May 26–27 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we welcomed 100+ educators and district leaders for two days of conversations around assessment, analytics, competencies, connected experiences, product updates, and more. ✨

The best part of Edsbyfest has always been the people in the room—and the insights they bring with them. This year was no exception: thoughtful discussions, fresh perspectives, and plenty of takeaways worth carrying forward.

The most interesting insights? Those are still to come! 👀

Stay tuned as we unpack key takeaways from in the days ahead.

Teaching involves far more than delivering lessons.

Planning, feedback, communication, documentation—every day includes dozens of moving parts.

Technology works best when it quietly supports those responsibilities, rather than adding to them.

That’s the approach behind Edsby: helping teachers stay focused on learning, not logistics.

Student growth doesn’t always happen in obvious ways.

Sometimes it’s confidence. Sometimes it’s consistency. Sometimes it’s a student engaging more than they did a month ago.

Those moments matter.

Having a clearer view of progress over time helps educators support students in more meaningful ways—and helps students see how far they’ve come, too.

That’s part of what Edsby is designed to support: making learning progress easier to recognize and reflect on.
