This is the reason that you shouldn't e-transfer money to someone that doesn't have automatic deposit set up. If they don't and won't, choose a good password, and don't send it in email.
Most importantly, set up automatic deposits on all your accounts. The bank does not cover these.

Be aware. I just received a phone call on my cell claiming to be Bell mobility and that I was eligible for a free phone upgrade.
Here are the things that led me to know it was a scam and what you should watch for too.
It was a local 433 number. Highly unlikely Bell is calling from Renfrew.
The scammer kept essentially repeating that I would get a new device free of charge. Not stating any options, just a free device because I had earned it.
The accent was so thick that I could barely understand them. Even Bell hires people that are able to be understood.
So when I told them point blank that no, they were not from Bell and they were a scammer, they told me that if I didn't want anything I should just not waste there time.
That is the first time I had seen that from a local number

Not related to my immediate group of friends as I don't know any recent immigrants, but still amazing how intricate the scam is right down to a translator. This applies to our neighbors too, especially the elderly. Spread the word and stop these thieving SOBS. Seriously take the time to share or tell people.

Just a reminder to always be wary of emails. I had to look at the email closely because it came from .com which is a legitimate Sage domain.
Even though I don't use Sage curiosity gets people into trouble because they want to see what this invoice is about. In this case apparently a Trojan. My curiosity made me research it.
