Eleven Tech recently completed the Wil-Torq Monitoring System, an IQAN application for monitoring and reporting results from torquing pipe connections using hydraulic tongs.
The Wil-Torq Monitoring System will be used by MND of Germany, while torquing strings of pipe. The system was assembled by Wil-Tech Industries Ltd. out of Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Eleven Tech built The Wil-Torq Monitoring System on Parker Hannifin's IQAN software (https://www.parker.com). The application records, logs and reports job details and torque readings during operation. Providing accountability and offering piece of mind to clients and management that the jobs was done to specification.
The Wil-Torq Monitoring System steps users through job data entry, before it begins measuring pressure off the load cell on the tong backups, converting it to torque and logging data to the enclosed tablet, and building reports for record keeping with all recorded joint data in an easy to read compact report.
The Wil-Torq Monitoring System offers mobility in a small rugged package; Wil-Tech assembles the system in a custom Pelican case to ensure it withstands the harshest of industrial environments.
The Wil-Torq Monitoring System is customizable to suit any client’s needs, for more information on this unit or the capabilities of Parker IQAN contact Eleven Tech (http://iqancontrol.eleven.tech) or Wil-Tech Industries Ltd. (http://www.wil-tech.ca).
