Job Description
Lumeca Health is a fast-paced, professional leader in the virtual health care space. Our mission is to simplify communication between healthcare providers and their patients. Our product, Lumeca Connect, connects patients with their family doctors through a safe, secure video or phone consultation platform. It can even help patients find providers near them. Lumeca Connect is a SAAS product with over 3500 active licenses in Canada.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic software development company. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions. Location
Lumeca has an office in Regina, Saskatchewan, however the successful candidate can work remotely and does not have to live in Saskatchewan.
Primary Duties
• Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, aligned with the company's vision and goals, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch activities, including requirements gathering, market research, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment throughout the product development process.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize this information to drive product improvements and innovations.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, development teams, and external partners, to ensure clear understanding of product goals, timelines, and expectations.
• Product Planning and Ex*****on: Define and prioritize product features, create user stories, and collaborate with the development team to ensure successful and timely product releases. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and make necessary adjustments to achieve business objectives.
• User Experience and Design: Work closely with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly software interfaces. Continuously gather user feedback and data to drive product enhancements and optimizations.
• Product Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market data to measure the success of product initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for future iterations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field is an asset.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a software development company, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated success in delivering software products through the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering business value and achieving organizational goals
• Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with a solid understanding of product metrics and analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desired.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Lumeca's other product, Lumeca Connect, connects patients with their family doctors through a safe, secure video or phone consultation platform. It can even help unattached patients find providers near them.

Reporting to the CTO, the Senior Developer will work with the development, design, and product team to build great features, squash pesky bugs, and do other cool things.

Location
Lumeca has an office in Regina, Saskatchewan however 90%+ of the work is currently done remotely.

Primary Duties
• Analyze, assess, develop, review and monitor solutions as part of a development team
• Write Code
• Make product suggestions

Professional Requirements
• A few years of experience writing backend and web software in PHP, C # or any other high-level language
• Familiarity with architectural patterns that help separate concerns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• Experience and in-depth knowledge with database management systems such as MySQL and Postgres.
• Understanding what makes a clean, RESTful API and the ability to create one.
• Experience with deploying, maintaining and monitoring a backend on services such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of source control and using it within the context of a team (for example, pull requests)
• Ability to solve and/or Google problems
• Ability to contribute songs to the Sonos playlist (when in office).

Nice To Have Skills
• Experience with reactive Javascript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Elastic Container Service.
• Experience complying with security and privacy regulations such as PIPEDA, PCI, GDPR or CCPA.
• Experience with mobile platforms such as iOS (Xcode and Swift) or Android (Android Studio and Kotlin)

Reporting to the CTO, the Cloud Ops Developer will work with the development, design, and product team to build great features, squash pesky bugs, and do other cool things like maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Though the title of primary components of this role are cloud operations in nature, we view this position to include other senior development responsibilities that are not necessarily related to cloud ops.

Location
Lumeca has an office in Regina, Saskatchewan however 90%+ of the work is currently done remotely.

Primary Duties
• Write Code
• Make product suggestions
• Analyze, assess, review and monitor cloud security and app performance

Professional Requirements
• Experience with deploying, maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructures such as AWS or Azure.
• Experiencing building web apps, mobile apps or REST APIs.
• Managing access and permissions to cloud services for our development team
• Ability to solve and/or Google problems
• Ability to contribute songs to the Sonos playlist (when in office).

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild
