"Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini?"

The best answer I can give is it just depends on the job.

Danger is: picking the wrong model could cost you hours you could be giving back to clients.

I quickly break down where each one pulls ahead, plus the one I'd hand the average advisor asking for a single subscription.

This website build was extremely close to home.

Like literally, Jordan Arndt is based out of Saskatoon, just 2 hours away from Regina.

Tied to Enns & Baxter, Jordan was looking for a landing page for prospects to land on.

Having served 150+ clients across 5 provinces, he needed a clean, modern website that could be differentiated from Enns & Baxter.

We put together a simple build that ties his niche and services together.

The flow walks prospects through:

→ Places he’s been featured on to establish credibility
→ The pain points prospects are actively dealing with
→ A free resource: a Financial Checklist Scorecard
→ The benefits of what Jordan offers
→ A bit about Jordan
→ The full list of services he provides
→ Quick, simple 4-step process
→ An ability to book the first step in the process
→ Any lingering questions prior to booking

That’s it! An effective landing page created for a great client.

Does your LinkedIn profile say one thing but your posts say another?

The algorithm is docking your reach for it.

That's new as of this year.

It's also weighing how long someone stays on, and whether they save or share your post.

So posting without much thought behind it can cost you. Like, a lot.

The fix starts with your hook, then the value you deliver after it.

Richard Vetter attempted to build a website himself.

It wasn’t bad! But it didn’t appeal to his niche the way it should.

See, a website can look totally fine but whether it’s optimized for its end user is an entirely different question.

Richard found himself spending too much time away from day-to-day business tinkering with a finicky website builder instead.

After building out a few pages, he booked a Free Assessment with me.

We chatted through the process, his goals for the website, and how he was looking for a website that could scale with his firm as they ramp up over the years.

He also asked if we could refresh the brand.

As a team, they were pretty invested in their existing logo.

We ended up overhauling the brand and modernizing it.

After the brand and website refresh, we were left with a design that matches the firm behind it.

It was a pleasure to work with WealthSmart.

Advisor websites blur together after a while…

Similar color palettes, basic layouts, and the same stock photos.

Now, AI slop has entered the picture and it’s only gotten worse.

Trey Gevers of Gevers Wealth came to us with a six-year-old template site that was trying to speak to several different niches at once, and they had no idea where to start unraveling it.

What they knew was the feeling they were after.

Trey brought a handful of design references and stated “I imagine our vision would look fairly different from a lot of the sites you've done.”

After spending some time looking at our competitors, he emailed me letting me know he “looked at a dozen other options and honestly none of them looked as good as yours.”

So, we got to work…

We created a conversion-optimized website with a bit of unique look that moves visitors towards a booked call, wrapped in a color palette and a personality you notice the second the page loads.

A little more playful than the typical advisor look, but still polished and professional.

Had a ton of fun with this one!

"So what wins in AI search? The same fundamentals do, and the one Google underlines hardest is non-commodity content."

Non-commodity content is different in practice.

On one hand, you have a title like "5 Signs You're Ready to Retire," which anyone could write.

On the other, you have a piece like "Why I Told a Client to Delay Retirement by Two Years, and What It Saved Him," which only you could write.

That gap pulls you ahead, as unique perspectives get cited.

Here's why it matters for AEO specifically:
✓ The more specific the story, the more likely it gets cited✓ Authority comes from proof, and your client work is the proof✓ That's the kind of content a competitor simply can't replicate

From our new free guide, which walks through five more pieces of the puzzle: SEO foundation, on-page SEO, niche messaging, conversion flow, and design.

Shoot me a comment or a DM and I'll send it your way.

Advisors: you’ve probably had a couple people send a referral your way.

COI relationships are worth a lot, but tend to stall out at that pace since it just depends on your name popping up at exactly the right moment.

There’s a COI referral system you can put in place to make the process a whole lot more repeatable.

It doesn’t take long to set it up either!

Chances are your last 5 clients came from referrals.

That’s a really great sign! It means you’re doing good work.

The problem is referrals arrive on their own schedule.

You can nurture them with a solid process and happy clients but you can't make one happen on command.

So, I dug into Michael Kitces’ data on success rates behind 20 of the top marketing channels for advisors.

Jason Schmidt from Badger Bookkeeping used the DIY website approach for years.

Frankly, it’s served him well enough.

Between word of mouth referrals, connections, and networking, he’s been at capacity.

But now, with a more narrow approach on marketing, and taking on a new team member, he’s needed to upgrade.

We’ve been in touch for a long time, and he finally pulled the trigger.

We went ahead and,
→ Crafted copy that speaks directly to who he's after
→ Designed a layout that doesn't make you dig for the point
→ Created a look that matches the caliber of bookkeeper he offers

He's been running a great bookkeeping firm for years with a website that didn’t reflect it.

If you're in a similar boat—referrals are solid, reputation is there…

Yet, you’re still stuck in the DIY days, it might be time.

Shoot us a DM and we’ll talk what’s working, what isn’t, and give you an action plan.
