One of the things I enjoy about working with website clients, is helping them feel confident managing their own content.
Many of my clients are comfortable making simple updates, adding information, or keeping their websites current. Where I come in, is helping bridge the gap between a change that works on a basic level, and a change that works beautifully.
Website updates don't always display the same way across devices, and it's not always obvious how new content should be formatted to stay consistent with the brand, design, and user experience. That's where I become their back-pocket support when needed.
A long time client shared this with me recently:
"Thanks for all you do to keep our website up to date. I am comfortable with minor updates and changes to existing information, but I appreciate you working with me to get to where I envision our pages to look. You're doing a great job."
I believe the best client relationships aren't about dependence - they're about partnership. My goal is to empower my clients to manage what they can, while knowing they have an experienced resource ready when they need a second set of eyes, technical support, or strategic guidance.
