*** Important information for Communicate Freely Customers ***

Our crews are currently out assessing damage from the storm and beginning repairs. A reminder to customers that once your power is restored, it can take 15-20 minutes for your internet, tv, or phone services to become available.

If you have had stable power for more than 30 minutes (or didn't lose power at all) and your services aren't working, please email us at [email protected]. Reporting issues by email allows us to properly track your issue and get you added to the queue for repairs. Be sure to include your full name and address in the email.

Special note to residents of the community of Sonya, crews have been dispatched and are beginning repairs. The damage is substantial and will take several hours to repair.

We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience while we restore services after this unprecedented ice storm.

Stay safe everyone!!

As the ice storm continues, we've pulled our crews off the road for the night for safety reasons. They'll be back out early in the morning to assess any damage and begin repairs to cables damaged by the storm.

For the first time in more than 60 years girls hockey teams will be participating in a prestigious tournament that NHL greatest from Gretzky to Howe participated in. CityNews’ Sports Reporter Lindsay Dunn has the story.

All customers at Pleasant Point, Gilsons Point and Sonya should now be restored. If your service is not working please power cycle your modem/router (turn it off/unplug the power for 10 seconds) and then give it 5 minutes to reboot. If it still isn't working please contact us at [email protected]

This completes the restoration of the cut cable

The first group of customers are starting to come back online as the splicing continues. We hope to be all finished and have everyone back online by 3:00-3:30am

Splicing has begun. Unfortunately we are about 90 minutes behind where we had hoped to be.

The first groups of customers should start coming back online about 1:00am and all customers should be restored by 3:00am

Outdoor work is complete and the crews now move into the trucks to begin the tedious work of splicing the fibres together. (New photo attached)

Onsite crews continue preparations to repair the cable. (Photos now attached)

We are hoping to begin splcing by 9pm with total restoration between 11pm and midnight. We will continue provide updates here on Facebook.

OUTAGE ALERT - FIBRE CUT - 4:25pm

Our crews are currently investigating a fibre cut that is impacting services on Fralicks Beach, Carnegie Beach, Pleasant Point, Gilsons Point and Sonya.

Our crews are investigating the damage. And will have an ETA shortly.

Today was "bring your child to work" day. We were lucky to have William Sandiford out on Starr's Beach and Washburn Island delivering door hangars about our upcoming fibre project in the area. Thanks William!!!

Hey Starr's Beach / Washburn Island / Ball Point !!!!

Did you see these guys on the water yesterday and today? They are busy bringing our award winning, pure fibre-to-the-home internet, TV, and phone service across the lake to your neighbourhood.

Construction begins this fall for Starr's Beach, spring 2023 for Washburn Island, and summer 2023 for Ball Point.
