We could do that with VLOOKUP (and LOOKUP/HLOOKUP) before Microsoft 365, but ran into problems if the columns were moved and if the data to retrieve was to the left of the column containing the lookup value. INDEX with MATCH was more flexible, but that was quite difficult to master.

Enter XLOOKUP! Available in Microsoft 365, it is a flexible, modern way of looking up data. In the example below, we will retrieve employee information.

For over 25 years, our mission at DJH Training & Application Solutions Inc. has been to provide a consistently high quality of training, support and products that are tailored to the individual and corporate needs of our clients, using our expertise, commitment, and personal touch to ensure their success.

Candidates must not only have a thorough understanding of SharePoint but must also be enthusiastic about transferring their knowledge. The SharePoint trainer / consultant will be a subject matter expert with excellent Microsoft SharePoint Online technology and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Work with client to review and establish needs
- Lead meetings and deliver concise and detailed presentations catered to a particular audience
- Facilitate group discussions and exercises
- Provide support and assistance within the client’s SharePoint environment

Qualifications:

- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint
- Minimum 5 years of training experience, including delivering online training
- Experience interacting with corporate clients
- Team player, with strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to convey proposed solutions and complex information clearly, concisely, and accurately to stakeholders and non-technical users
- Able to interact effectively with a wide variety of personalities
- Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to adjust content and pace according to a variety of skill levels
- Outgoing people person, who works well under pressure and can ‘think on their feet’
- Interested in working on a part-time/contract basis to start
- Able to begin immediately with availability during weekdays
- Remuneration to be discussed, based upon experience

All training is currently delivered remotely, using MS Teams, due to COVID-19 concerns
