“What Our Hands Can Fix, and What Only JESUS Can Heal”
There’s something sacred about simple work-tightening a screw, replacing a battery, restoring a device that someone depends on. Every repair reminds us that God has entrusted us with hands that can serve, create, and restore. Here on earth, He gives us the skill to fix many things people bring to us: broken screens, forgotten passcodes, glitching phones, worn-out batteries.
But every time we finish a repair, we’re reminded of one truth: There is one thing we can never fix with our own hands-our soul.
No tool, no technique, no update can restore the human heart.
Only JESUS can do that.
The cross is God’s ultimate repair-His act of restoring what sin has broken.
And there is no other name under heaven given to us for salvation but the name of JESUS.
He is the only One who can heal what’s deepest in us.
So every week, as we fix what’s in front of us, we remember the One who fixes what’s inside us.
Every successful repair becomes a quiet reminder of grace. Every restored device becomes a small picture of the restoration God offers to every soul.
This week’s repairs became this week’s reminders:
