A new nice heavy duty sheath for my return client. This one was a doozy, tried to fight me along the way, and the knife bit me a couple of times. This sheath has a pouch for some survival items, a place to put a sharpening rod, and elastics built into the handle wrap to help it spring open. It will clip onto a cross body strap I previously made for this client.

A local Justice of the Peace asked for a leather case for his favorite ink stamp… and he was extremely happy. Satisfaction like that is currency for the soul 🙂.

I’ve said it before… I get asked to create the coolest stuff. From a camel saddle cushion, to carved hunting knife holster, to these fun ones… magic wand cases. Each sheath color represents the color of the wood portion of the wand. The horizontal one was the vinyl one supplied.

Occasionally, I get asked to create an item that incorporates client supplied elements. This time around, I was asked to create a leather strap for a custom made guitar, and I was given the piece of fabric (cherished by my client) from Africa.

One the back end, a strap end that mimics the shape of the neck where it meets the body, with monogram. The other end has a formed pouch for a capo, with a snap closure, and braided lace to connect at the head of the guitar. An elegant accent I’m quite proud of.

A beautiful leather recipe binder that was created just before Christmas. This binder has 3” rings, constructed by hand, with a custom hand carved design. When stacked with other books the spine will mimic look of a vintage recipe book. The client was extremely pleased 🙂.

It’s been a busy Christmas season, and of course my family got a little something something as well. Guitar straps for my nephew & brother, a tote for my sister in-law, and some seag for my other nephew. T’was good for the soul 🙂.
