This month our featured local farm is Trillium Meadows. A 100 acre family run farm in Vankleek Hill. They raise heritage Red deer and red wattle pigs outdoors year round without antibiotics or hormones. Meat is sold via specialty boxes, farmers markets and direct pickup.

This month we feature Old Huntley Orchard in our calendar. They are a family run farm in Carp Valley near growing apples, pears, plums and veggies with a focus on care and sustainability. Their shop offers c***r, baked goods, preserves, honey and handcrafted gifts.

Our featured farm for August is Shallowtail Farm near Perth. They grow award winning hardneck garlic using organic farming practices. They have a variety of including music, Marino, azores, red Russian, Guatemala Ikeda, northumberland and purple stripe as well as fresh garlic scapes, , dips, jams, and more!

Our featured farm for July is Jaymie Thurler they are a biodiverse, certified organic vegetable farm just south of Ottawa. They have over 45 crops such as ginger, heirloom tomatoes, root vegetables and more. Their CSA offers weekly harvest boxes.

Our featured farm for June is Les Jardins Écologistes they are a 5th generation family owned lavender farm in St Albert Ontario using eco friendly farming methods. You can stroll the purple fields, shop handcrafted products and even buy pastured raised beef, lamb and chicken - all rooted in sustainability.
