I’ve been pretty MIA on this account, so I think it’s time for a reintroduction (and a rebrand🎉 swipe to view)!

Hi! My name is Madeleine but I’m known by most people as “Maddy”. I’m a wife and mom who also happens to be a graphic designer. For the last two years I’ve been working as a freelance Graphic Designer part-time. I receive a lot of joy in helping to bring people’s creative visions to life through various types of designs, some of them being new visuals for a business, a whole brand revamp, or a commissioned print. When I’m not working, I’m can be found creating garages out of Lego with my son, Gavin, playing piano, or tearing through another library book.

Want to get to know me more? Here are a couple of facts about me:

🍋I love being inspired by amazing illustrations in children’s books at the library.
🍋You can follow me on my personal account to watch fun reels of Gavin.
🍋I love to read WWII historical fiction and fiction in general. Ask me for book recommendations and I will give you a list a mile long!
🍋I’m a musician. I’ve learned to play six different instruments and sing (sometimes at the same time) at varying levels over the years, and love leading worship with friends at St Marys Parish here in Ottawa.

I had the pleasure of working with to create their new logo! Hammond Hill is the first and wilderness retreat of its kind in Canada. 🇨🇦 Look no further for your next memorable vacation experience!

“Hammond Hill is the first eco-experience and wilderness retreat of its kind in Canada. Initially featuring 10 small cottages nestled in 50 acres of mature woodlands, Hammond Hill will be an environmentally sustainable retreat for families across the region.”

You can find more about their initiatives on sustainability, the unique tiny-home cottages that my mom did the interior design for, and the packages that Hammond Hill offers on their website.

It was a pleasure working with them on the logo design, printed, and hand-lettered signage.
