Twenty years ago, MacKenzie Promotions opened its doors right here in North Bay with one simple goal: help local businesses show up looking their best.

Two decades later, that goal hasn't changed, it's just grown. From first orders to long-term partnerships, small giveaways to full rebrands, we've been lucky enough to grow alongside this community every step of the way.

So today, we just want to say thank you. To every client who's trusted us with their brand, their events, and their teams, this one's for you.

Not every project is flashy, but every project matters.

This rack card redesign for Algonquin Safety Training needed to do a very specific job: get compliant, on-brand information into the hands of people fast, no clutter, no confusion.

We rebuilt the layout with clear hierarchy, bold caution-tape accents, and a QR code that makes it easy to go from "saw the card" to "got certified" in one scan. Clean, functional, and unmistakably theirs.

Good design isn't just about looking good, it's about working hard for the business behind it.

When it comes to merch, marketing, and giveaways, the options are bigger than a mug and a pen.

This one's a favourite of ours: a two-sided postcard designed to do double duty. Bold, scroll-stopping messaging up front, and a small (but memorable) branded lip balm tucked right next to a QR code. A little something people can actually hold onto, long after the conversation ends.

That's the real opportunity with creative merch, it's not about picking one product and calling it done. It's about combining pieces so your brand shows up in someone's hand, their bag, their glove box, in ways a business card alone never could.

Here's what that actually looks like in practice, using our recent branding for Affordable Burial & Cremation Services – North Bay: a primary logo plus intentional variations (a badge mark, a submark) so the brand still feels like itself no matter where it shows up. A colour palette that isn't just "pretty colours"; Pine Teal, Mist Blue, Dusty Lavender, Dusk Plum. Chosen to feel calm, trustworthy, and human, because that's what this business needed to communicate. And that same logo, those same colours, carried consistently across the letterhead, the business card, every printed piece. Nothing feels like an afterthought.
