🇨🇦 25 years later, we remember. And we serve.
On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 lives were lost, including 24 Canadians. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, Canadians responded with compassion, generosity and service.
From welcoming stranded travellers into homes and communities to offering food, shelter and support, Canadians showed what it means to come together when others need us most.
This September 11, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we honour those whose lives were lost and recognize the countless acts of service that emerged from one of history’s darkest days.
May their memory continue to inspire us to serve our communities, support one another and carry that spirit forward.
Remember. Serve. Inspire.
