First time riding in Muskoka, and what an experience! The smell of fallen pine needles, the crisp autumn air, the smooth gravel roads, and the colours of the trees… oh man, what a ride lol. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.

This gravel section was part of our 70 km ride with 21 climbs in total. We weren’t out there chasing speed, just enjoying the scenery, soaking it all in, and being present in the moment.

If you love nature, this video is for you. And if you’re into gravel riding, add Muskoka to your bucket list. Definitely worth the ride!

Sometimes we get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to enjoy the life we’re working so hard for.

Personally, I want to be more present, watch my kids grow, make memories, and put family first. Time keeps moving, and those moments are something we can never get back.

Just a reminder to myself to enjoy life as it happens, not someday when everything else is done.

YEARS IN THE MAKING!

This is the ride that had been on my mind for years.

Ever since I started cycling during the pandemic, completing the Greater Niagara Circle Route has been one of my biggest goals.

But with that goal came so many doubts:

Can I really do it?
Am I strong enough?
What if I don’t make it?

I finally stopped overthinking and told myself:

“F@*! it. I’m going for it.”

No matter what happened, I was going to give it everything I had.

And I did.

Coming back home felt unreal. It wasn’t just about the distance, it was about proving to myself that the biggest thing holding me back all those years was my own doubt.

That night, I told my kids what it feels like to finally achieve something you’ve been working toward for years. I hope they remember that the biggest rewards often come from believing in yourself and having the courage to take that first step.

This wasn’t just a bike ride.

It was proof that sometimes the only thing standing between you and your goal is the decision to go for it.

145 km in 5:30. Goal accomplished.
