This odd looking but very nice little Italian typewriter is an Olivetti Lettera 30 portable manual typewriter. It's from the late 1960's or early 1970's. Marketed to students and home users, I think Sears had a version branded under their name.

Interesting jpeg of a switch on a keypad we're working on. I haven't seen many of these but I'd describe it as a tactile switch because it provides feedback to the user with resistance to depressing the actuator (and gives a nice click sound).
