3D Prototype Design

3D Prototype Design Our 3D Printing services provide clients with nylon prototypes that are durable, functional and flexible. 3D Prototype Design Inc.

is a rapid prototyping and 3d printing service provider. We were the first company in Canada to own and offer 3d prototyping services with Fused Deposition Modeling, rapid prototyping technology since 1996. With our years of experience and knowledge it has provided us with an unparalleled understanding of the 3d prototype industry and capabilities, which is of great value to our customers. Coupled

along with quality 3d prototypes and a commitment to customer service and satisfaction, we have the ability to become a powerful part of your research and development team with our rapid prototyping and 3d printing services. Specializing in our in-house SLS technology, we can create nylon parts that are functioning and durable. They can be drilled, tapped, tested, have fluids run through them. We can build snap fit components, living hings and functioning springs.

3D printing brings 2,000+ year-old man back to life! 🏛️✨

We recently 3D printed a Marcus Aurelius bust, scaled from a Louvre scan, as a gift for someone studying Stoicism. Using high-resolution SLS 3D printing, we captured every detail of this historic sculpture.

Marcus Aurelius, the Roman emperor and Stoic philosopher, is best known for Meditations, his personal reflections on resilience, discipline, and leadership. This 3D printed bust brings that history into the modern world.

At 3D Prototype in Ontario, we specialize in durable, functional SLS 3D prints, and love projects that connect art, history, and innovation.

How SLS 3D Printing Is Supporting Marine Innovation in Canada

From sonar systems to submersible robotics, Canada’s marine industry is evolving fast — and advanced manufacturing is helping it stay ahead.

SLS 3D printing is changing how companies build parts for marine and underwater equipment. Instead of waiting on tooling or overseas orders, Canadian teams can now design, test, and produce durable nylon components locally — faster and more efficiently.

We’ve supported projects where parts were used in underwater testing and field trials, proving how adaptable this technology really is.

If you’re developing housings, connectors, or support structures for marine applications, SLS 3D printing could be the smart alternative you’ve been looking for.

Pipeline inspection robots operate in challenging environments — tight spaces, harsh chemicals, and demanding operational conditions. Choosing the right components is critical for performance and reliability.

At 3DPrototype.com, we create custom 3D printed nylon components using SLS 3D printing. Our parts are durable, flexible, and chemical-resistant, and they integrate seamlessly into robotic systems. Multiple components can even be produced in a single run, helping teams test and deploy designs faster.

If you’re designing pipeline inspection robots or need custom robotic components built for real-world conditions, we can help.
