There appears to be a Maritime Electric power outage in and around the Toronto Road area. Not sure how widespread it is. Just received notification that the generator started up.

We’re aware of an issue affecting available throughput to our Wheatley River site. This is most noticeable during the evening, and some customers may experience slower speeds or difficulty streaming at times.

We have identified the issue and are planning a repair this week. The repair will require a tower climb to complete.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get this resolved.

FYI - Maritime Electric may be experiencing power bumps or outages this morning due to the winds around the Rustico area. We just received notification that our Toronto Road generator has started due to loss of Maritime Electric power.

Good morning folks. The power is out in the Rustico area and that is affecting one of our main sites on Toronto Road. We do have an auto start generator there however it faulted and failed to start. We are aware and doing what we can to get things up and going again. I did try to drive to the site however I didn't get very far from my home as the roads aren't safe.

Good morning everyone. Just an FYI that Maritime Electric is experiencing a power outage that began a couple hours ago in the Oyster Bed area. The battery backup at a few of our sites ran out of power a while ago so the following sites appear to be offline until power can be restored to the area.
Dykstra Farms site, Vanco site, Oyster Bed site.
