AI x Design-Futuristic Lunar New Year Poster

Happy Lunar New Year!

For the Year of the Horse poster, I had fun exploring how AI can boost creativity without taking away from traditional design thinking.

I started by using ChatGPT and Gemini to refine my prompts and determine the visual style. After playing around with different ideas in Adobe Firefly, I selected the best elements and brought them together in Photoshop. Finally, I designed the layout and typography in Illustrator to create the finished piece.

With the help of AI, we were able to explore new possibilities in no time! Plus, design judgment played a key role in shaping the final look.

In 2016, I created an animal-themed postcard to celebrate the lunar new year. Since then, I have continued this tradition every year, and this year marks the ninth card in the series. With each new card, I have experimented with different techniques and tried to incorporate the latest design trends for the upcoming year. It has been a fun and exciting journey of exploration and creativity!
